Opportunity Overview
The Federated Registry Data scientist will contribute to the design, development and operation of a multi-country federated registry platform based on the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model (OMOP CDM), in collaboration with specialized vendors for Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), hosting, and federated analyses. The role will serve as a primary point of contact between Rhythm, the selected vendors, and participating registries for data-related activities.



The Data Scientist will oversee the local registry data collection (mapping, transformation, quality-check) and the federated analyses specifications and outputs within a federated OMOP CDM-based environment provided and maintained by the vendors.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Federated analyses
- Oversee and supervise the vendor’s technical and analytical deliverables
- Oversee data collection, data quality check, ETL logic and data mapping to OMOP CDM
- Lead preparation and review of the statistical analysis plan, cohort definitions, variable definitions, and federated query specifications supported and executed by the vendors based on research questions proposed by the Scientific Committee, the participating centers or internally
- Perform external research proposals’ feasibility assessment before review by the Scientific Committee
- Ensure analytical outputs are clear and consiste
