Responsibilities

- Outline and develop enduring, scalable technical structures that correspond with business targets and engineering expectations
- Offer perspective during architecture-related dialogue, helping influence the direction projects take
- Partner with teams from assorted disciplines to make sure outputs are delivered promptly and meet quality criteria




- Provide feedback on code authored by other developers, reinforcing solid engineering practices through constructive critique
- Identify and work through challenging technical issues that appear at multiple points in the build cycle

- Take part in planning discussions, contributing to scope outlines and providing accurate time projections

- Preserve clear documentation of key technical choices and procedures to safeguard the codebase's long-term stability
- Collaborate with business-focused stakeholders to set clear goals and verify completed work aligns with expectations

Requirements

- No fewer than three years of relevant, hands-on experience in a similar technical capacity
- Functional familiarity with AI tools and theory, applied to strengthen the solution design process
- Thorough grounding in Java Core concepts along with solid object-oriented programming skills
- Established experience using Java 8 features in practical, applied development work
- Proficient with Spring Boot for building and sustaining backend infrastructure elements




- Background with cloud environments established on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Understanding of Amazon Web Services for managing and deploying cloud-based solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts that enable consistent, automated software release cycles
- Comfortable using SQL to organize and retrieve data from relational database systems
- Confirmed experience building systems according to Microservice Architecture guidelines
- Applied background developing and connecting to REST API frameworks
- Solid understanding of Unit Testing techniques to ensure steady and reliable code
- Familiarity with NoSQL database options that pair well with Java-based development
- Competent English communication abilities at a B2 level or above
