Role Description The Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Cali, responsible for overseeing the academic and operational management of their section of thr school. This role includes guiding the implementation of the bilingual, bicultural curriculum, supervising teaching and learning, and ensuring that educational programs align with institutional standards and accreditation requirements. The Principal leads and supports faculty and staff through coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development initiatives, fostering a collaborative, inclusive,



and student-centered school culture.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing school policies and procedures, overseeing student welfare and discipline, engaging with families and the wider community, and promoting continuous improvement in educational quality and outcomes. The Principal also collaborates with governing bodies and administrative teams on strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and long-term institutional development.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership and management skills in an educational setting, including team supervision, strategic planning, and school operations oversight.
- Strong background in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and assessment practices, preferably in bilingual or international school environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to navigate bicultural and binational educational contexts.
- Advanced academic qualifications in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; prior experience as a Principal or senior administrator is highly desirable.
- Proven commitment to student-centered learning, equity, inclusion, and the holistic development of learners.
- Experience with accreditation processes, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in schools.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, and readiness to work on-site in Cali, Colombia.
