Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Owner role based in Medellín for Magnum Logistics S.A.S. The Owner oversees the overall strategic direction of the company, sets business objectives, and ensures sustainable growth in the logistics and transportation market. Daily responsibilities include supervising operations, monitoring service quality, and coordinating with key teams such as dispatch, customer service, and finance to maintain efficient workflows.

The role involves managing budgets and financial performance, reviewing key performance indicators, and making decisions on investments, partnerships, and process improvements. The Owner also leads business development initiatives, negotiates with clients and suppliers, ensures compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and fosters a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams, delegate responsibilities, and support professional development.
- Experience in logistics, transportation,



or supply chain operations, including planning, routing, and process optimization.
- Financial and business management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial reports for decision-making.
- Client relationship and negotiation skills to build long-term partnerships with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in the logistics sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of accountability, and readiness to be present on-site in Medellín.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
