Role Description The High School Mathematics Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Floridablanca. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons, including Algebra and other high school-level content, aligned with school curriculum and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance.

The teacher collaborates with colleagues, participates in faculty meetings and professional development,



and communicates regularly with students and families to support academic growth. The role also involves fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics, including Algebra and related high school content.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation tailored to high school learners.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience teaching at the Middle School or High School level, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field; advanced degrees or teaching credentials are an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments and manage classroom dynamics constructively.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and alignment with the school’s mission and global perspective.
- Fluency in English; Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.
