At Luker Chocolate, we are looking for a Senior Product Design Development Professional to join our Innovation, Research Development team.
This role will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of new products with a technical, researchdriven, creative, and innovative approach, applying the companys product development methodologies and agile tools such as Scrum.
The position will participate in product development and prototyping projects for Colombia, Latin America, and strategic markets, working closely with different internal areas and external stakeholders to promote innovation, continuous improvement, and value creation for the business.
Key responsibilities
Manage new product development projects.
Support productrelated requirements from different areas of the company.
Promote innovation initiatives focused on business improvement and value generation.
Apply the companys product development methodology.
Plan and coordinate laboratory and pilot plant trials.
Develop new product prototypes and evaluate their sensory, physicochemical, and functional performance.
Analyze prototype performance results and define next steps in the product development process.
Coordinate prototype delivery to internal or external customers for evaluation and approval.
Plan, coordinate, and support industrial trials to validate process conditions for new products.
Support product startup and verification stages during industrialization.
Develop and update technical sheets, manufacturing routes, and formulas.
Evaluate raw material suppliers from a technical perspective.
Support product profile adjustments and formulation changes.
Train Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams on newly developed products.
Conduct technological surveillance, stateoftheart reviews, trend analysis,



and intellectual property activities.
Build relationships with suppliers, universities, laboratories, and external entities to promote knowledge and technology transfer.
Profile we are looking for
Professional degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or Chemistry.
Minimum 4 years of experience in product development, preferably in the food industry.
Experience in formulation, prototyping, laboratory trials, pilot plant testing, industrial trials, validation, or product industrialization IN FOOD INDUSTRY.
Knowledge of food science, product development methodologies, and technical documentation.
Experience working with crossfunctional teams such as RD, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Marketing, or Commercial teams.
Ability to work with internal and external customers, suppliers, universities, laboratories, and technical partners.
Agile mindset and experience or interest in methodologies such as Scrum.
English level desirable.
Availability to work onsite in Bogotá.

Location Bogotá, Colombia Calle 13.
Schedule Monday to Friday, 730 a.m. to 530 p.m.
No shifts.
Direct contract with the company.
