What you will be doing:
We are seeking a hands-on architect or lead, with a strong data engineering background to lead a Microsoft Fabric implementation across multiple workstreams. This leader will translate business priorities into an actionable backlog, orchestrate delivery across engineering pods, ensure production-grade quality,
and contribute directly to development and problem solving. The adecuado candidate is a great communicator and orchestrator, comfortable engaging executives and practitioners, with a bias for action and outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years in data engineering/analytics, including 2+ years leading multi-team or multi-workstream delivery.
• Strong Microsoft Fabric experience or equivalent (Databricks/Synapse plus readiness to ramp on Fabric quickly).
• Strong expertise with solution patterns, technical direction, and guardrails for Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Pipelines, Dataflows, Power BI).
• Proficiency with PySpark in notebooks and Python-based engineering practices.
• Strong KQL skills for Real-Time Analytics scenarios.
• Advanced SQL (T-SQL or equivalent) and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience with agile delivery and Azure DevOps (ADO): writing epics/stories/task
