About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio & Delivery Manager to join our Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO). This strategic leadership role is responsible for managing the end-to-end IT demand pipeline, portfolio visibility, sprint planning, governance processes, and executive reporting across the organization.

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT delivery professional who excels at balancing priorities, influencing stakeholders at all levels, facilitating Agile processes, and driving transparency across complex technology initiatives. This role requires strong analytical thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to align business objectives with delivery execution.

Responsibilities

Portfolio & Demand Management

- Own and manage the IT demand intake process from request submission through prioritization and resource allocation.
- Maintain and continuously update a single ranked portfolio pipeline across all initiatives.
- Lead monthly prioritization exercises based on business value, urgency, compliance requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Coordinate project initiation activities and ensure teams have the necessary context, goals, stakeholders, and constraints before execution.

Agile Delivery & Sprint Management





- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate capacity planning with Business Analysts, Engineering, QA, and Data teams.
- Maintain a rolling 3-month delivery and sprint forecast.
- Monitor delivery risks, dependencies, blockers, and scope changes, escalating when necessary.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

- Chair cross-functional prioritization and governance meetings.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, executives, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Communicate portfolio decisions, priority changes, and delivery updates clearly and effectively.
- Provide weekly visibility into priorities, commitments, and organizational delivery status.

Governance & Executive Reporting

- Lead portfolio governance forums and risk reviews.
- Develop and deliver executive-level portfolio reporting and insights.
- Validate project health, delivery status, and key performance indicators.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance reporting, visibility, and standardization efforts.

Performance Management & Metrics

- Consolidate and present portfolio and delivery metrics, including:
- Demand intake and backlog management
- Delivery throughput and predictability
- Capacity utilization
- Business outcomes and benefits realization
- Maintain leadership dashboards and performance reporting.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

- Define and maintain knowledge management standards and structures across the Enterprise Delivery Office.
- Ensure documentation remains current, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards.




- Promote best practices in Agile delivery, portfolio management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT Portfolio Management, PMO, Agile Delivery, Program Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years working directly with senior executives and business leaders.
- Proven experience managing multiple initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders across complex environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams and influencing without direct authority.

Required Skills

- Advanced knowledge of Portfolio Management and IT Demand Management.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile delivery processes and sprint planning.
- Strong Jira administration and management capabilities, including:
- Workflows
- Automation
- JQL
- Advanced Roadmaps
- Experience managing Confluence spaces and knowledge repositories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and executive communication abilities.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve reporting, visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to influence decision-making across business and technical teams.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (C1 English preferred).
