About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior SAP Business ByDesign Functional Consultant to support implementations, lead functional solution design, and improve business processes for our clients.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into practical SAP Business ByDesign solutions. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, functional configuration, testing, data migration support, user training, and ongoing system support.

This role requires practical experience with SAP Business ByDesign, a strong understanding of integrated business processes, and the ability to independently lead functional activities across multiple teams.

Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. You must be able to confidently lead client meetings, gather requirements, explain functional solutions, and prepare documentation in English.

Key Responsibilities• Lead stakeholder workshops to gather and validate requirements, understand business processes, and define functional scope.

- Translate business requirements into process maps, functional specifications, and solution designs aligned with SAP Business ByDesign capabilities.
- Perform business configuration, including scoping and fine tuning, for assigned functional areas.




- Configure and support processes within your areas of expertise, such as finance, procurement, sales, supply chain, or project management, while ensuring alignment with related business processes.
- Identify process gaps, evaluate standard system functionality, and recommend practical solutions.
- Define functional requirements for integrations and extensions, working closely with technical teams on design, validation, and issue resolution.
- Support data migration through data mapping, migration templates, data quality checks, and validation of imported records.
- Plan and execute functional and integration testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and track defects through resolution.
- Support implementation readiness, go live activities, and stabilization after deployment.
- Investigate functional issues, resolve configuration problems, and coordinate with technical teams or SAP support as needed.
- Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and training materials, and deliver user training.
- Support reporting requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and system adoption.

Required Qualifications• Demonstrated practical experience with SAP Business ByDesign, including functional configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation or enhancement delivery.

- Strong functional expertise in one or more core business areas, such as finance, procurement, sales, supply chain, or project management, with an understanding of how these processes integrate.
- Experience with SAP Business ByDesign business configuration, including scoping and fine tuning.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, gap analysis,



process mapping, and functional solution design.
- Experience supporting implementations or significant enhancements across requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience supporting data migration, coordinating UAT, and delivering user training.
- Ability to independently lead stakeholder workshops, explain solution options, and manage functional requirements through delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.
- Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Candidates must be able to lead meetings, discuss complex business requirements, explain system functionality, and write clear documentation in English without translation assistance.
- Fluency in Spanish, with strong professional communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams in a hybrid, multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience completing at least one SAP Business ByDesign implementation from requirements gathering through go live.
- Functional expertise across multiple SAP Business ByDesign business areas.
- Experience defining integration requirements and collaborating with developers on interfaces or solution extensions.
- Familiarity with SAP Business ByDesign reporting and analytics.
- Experience supporting international clients and working with distributed teams.
- Relevant SAP Business ByDesign certification or training.
