Role Description The Personal Injury Assistant role is a full-time, remote position supporting attorneys and legal staff in managing personal injury cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and maintaining case files, gathering and reviewing medical records, police reports, insurance documents, and correspondence related to client matters. The assistant will communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties to obtain information, schedule calls, and provide status updates under attorney supervision.





The role also includes drafting and formatting letters, intake forms, basic legal documents, and settlement demand packages, as well as entering data into case management systems and tracking deadlines.

Assistant collaborates closely with the legal team to ensure timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and efficient case progression from intake through resolution.

Qualifications

- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including file management, data entry, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and internal team members.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and the ability to learn legal or case management systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience or coursework in personal injury, civil litigation, or general legal support is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, or claims handling is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent relevant experience in a law firm or legal setting preferred.

Salary : $1,200-$1,300/month
