What You'll Do
- Find and close new customers through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Build, manage, and grow your own portfolio of accounts.
- Negotiate competitive and profitable rates with carriers using GLT's network and resources.
- Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.
- Identify opportunities to increase shipment volume, revenue, and profitability within existing accounts.
What We're Looking For?
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker in the U.S. transportation and logistics industry.
- Active Book of Business is a strong plus, but not required.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher required).
- Strong sales and business development mindset with a track record of generating revenue.
- Proven ability to negotiate rates effectively and maximize margins.
- Experience building and maintaining strong shipper and carrier relationships.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and account management skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven professional.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
