About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Specialist to support our customers' billing and accounts receivable needs. You will be the first point of contact for billing questions, keep invoices accurate, follow up on past-due balances, and make sure every payment is applied and documented correctly. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, comfortable talking with customers about money, and knows when to resolve an issue directly and when to escalate it.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Billing support: Respond to customer billing inquiries by phone, chat, and email with clear, accurate, and timely answers.
- Invoicing: Prepare, issue, and correct customer invoices following established billing procedures.
- Collections: Follow up on past-due accounts, send payment reminders, and coordinate payment arrangements with customers.
- Payment processing: Apply incoming payments, process refunds and credits, and reconcile customer accounts.
- Escalation: Route disputes, write-off requests, and other complex financial matters to the appropriate internal team. Final decisions on account adjustments are made by that team, not by this role.
- Documentation: Log customer interactions, payment commitments, and account outcomes so every account has a clear, continuous history.
- Account monitoring: Proactively review accounts receivable aging and customer accounts to spot delinquency risk and billing discrepancies early.

Requirements





- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance support role.
- C1 (advanced) English, spoken and written, with the ability to explain billing details clearly to customers.
- Hands-on experience preparing invoices, applying payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Experience handling customer inquiries across phone, chat, and email.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Comfortable having professional, firm-but-friendly conversations about overdue balances.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- A reliable computer, stable high-speed internet connection, and a quiet workspace suitable for customer calls.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with billing or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zuora, or a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot).
- Background supporting U.S. customers, ideally in a SaaS or subscription business.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable aging reports and payment-plan tracking.
- Degree or technical studies in accounting, finance, or business administration.
