About Messangi

Messangi is a CPaaS provider and Meta Select Business Solution Partner delivering messaging solutions across the Americas through APIs, a Multichannel Console, Live Chat, and enterprise integrations. We move high volumes of SMS and WhatsApp traffic for carriers, banks, retailers, and technology companies across more than eight markets.

The role

You will own the supply side of our messaging business: the network of carrier and aggregator relationships that determines our reach, quality, and cost across the Americas. Your mandate is to build and maintain the best possible connectivity map for the region, direct with carriers where it is strategic and viable, through aggregators where it is not, always balancing route quality against commercial terms.

Responsibilities

-Manage existing direct carrier relationships where Messangi holds connectivity and contracts, including administrative requirements, renewals, and compliance obligations with each operator.

-Continuously review and optimize commercial agreements: rates, volume commitments, payment terms, and service levels.

-Establish and manage aggregator relationships in countries where Messangi has no direct connectivity, evaluating each on delivery quality, latency, and cost.

-Pursue new direct carrier connectivity wherever it is strategic: build the business case, lead the negotiation, and coordinate technical enablement with our Operations and Engineering teams.





-Own the connectivity roadmap for the Americas: a living map of every market, its routes, quality metrics, and commercial terms, with clear recommendations on where to go direct versus aggregate.

-Open the pathway for RCS: identify operator readiness by market, negotiate enablement agreements, and coordinate with our commercial teams driving client side RCS opportunities.

-Map Voice routes and interconnect options across the region as a foundation for our planned Voice channel.

-Work with Operations on route performance monitoring, failover strategy, and capacity planning per operator connection.

What we are looking for

-5+ years in carrier relations, wholesale messaging, or A2P routing at a CPaaS provider, aggregator, or carrier wholesale desk.

-Direct experience negotiating interconnect and A2P agreements with mobile operators in Latin America and/or the Caribbean.

-Working knowledge of SMPP connectivity, rate decks, delivery analytics, and route quality management. Enough technical depth to work credibly with NOC and Engineering teams.

-Understanding of the LatAm operator landscape and its regulatory bodies.

-Familiarity with RCS Business Messaging and its operator enablement model is a strong plus. -Exposure to Voice interconnect is a plus.

-Fluent Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.

-Strong negotiation skills with a track record of measurable cost or quality improvements.
