We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support customer payment application and account reconciliation processes. The idóneo candidate will have experience applying incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices, verifying payment information, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring customer accounts are accurately updated.

- Apply incoming customer payments to the corresponding customer invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and timely posting of transactions.
- Review payment details, remittance advice, and supporting documentation to identify which invoices should be paid.
- Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices and customer account balances.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and unidentified transactions.
- Monitor open invoices and outstanding balances to ensure accurate Accounts Receivable records.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to obtain missing remittance information and resolve payment-related issues.
- Research and correct payment application errors to ensure customer accounts are properly updated.
- Maintain accurate records of payment transactions,



reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare reports related to payment applications, unapplied cash, and account discrepancies.
- Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, cash application, payment posting, or related accounting and financial operations.
- Experience applying customer payments to invoices and reconciling customer accounts.
- Knowledge of remittance advice, outstanding invoices, payment discrepancies, and unapplied cash.
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data management.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.
- English proficiency for communicating with international customers and stakeholders.
