About MoneyGram Ramps
MoneyGram Ramps lets wallets, exchanges, and fintechs give their users cash on-ramps and off-ramps through MoneyGram's general network of retail locations. Users can turn cash into digital dollars, or digital dollars into cash, while partners integrate once through a single API and a self-service partner portal. Ramps runs on Stellar and Solana, with more blockchains on the way.
About the role
MoneyGram has been moving money around the world for more than 80 years, but the crypto team is small, moves fast, and works more like a startup than a traditional corporation. This is the only commercial and partner-facing role on a team that is otherwise engineering and product. You will work with partners around the world, across many countries and cultures, and own the full partner lifecycle, from the first conversation through onboarding, growth, and co-marketing, and you will be the day-to-day owner of our relationships with the blockchain ecosystems we work with. It is a good fit for someone who enjoys moving between deal-making, operations, and data, and who can push work forward across many teams at once.
What you will do
Partner acquisition and deal-making
- Find, qualify, and close new wallet, exchange, and fintech partners worldwide through inbound and outbound channels. Own the pipeline and decide which opportunities get priority.
- Lead strategic deals that need bespoke terms.
Partner onboarding and activation
- Move each new partner through KYB, compliance review, contracting, and technical activation. Coordinate the internal teams involved to get partners live as fast as possible.
- Act as the partner's single point of contact from the first documents to go-live.
Partner success and growth
- Run recurring syncs with key partners and be their first point of contact for operational questions and escalations.
- Coordinate partner announcements and co-marketing.
- Manage partner commissions and payments.
Ecosystem relationships and co-marketing grants
- Own the day-to-day relationship with the Stellar Development Foundation, from steering committees and quarterly business reviews to testing and reporting. Build relationships across Solana and the other blockchain ecosystems that Ramps expands into.
- Run the co-marketing grant program, from proposals and agreements to results and payments.
Reporting, operations, and product input
- Run recurring reporting for different stakeholders, from MoneyGram's leadership team to the blockchain ecosystems we work with and our partners. Turn the data into decisions about partners, countries, and priorities.
- Bring partner and market feedback to the product team and help shape our platforms and tools, such as the partner portal and the website.
- Improve and automate partner operations, from onboarding workflows to CRM integrations.
What we are looking for
- You have experience in partnerships, business development, or GTM, including negotiating and closing deals. You communicate exceptionally well in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You know the crypto industry well, especially stablecoins, wallets, and on-ramps and off-ramps. You have worked in tech before and are comfortable working every day with developers and product teams at MoneyGram and at our partners.
- You are comfortable with data, from pulling metrics to building a clear story out of them, and you use AI tools in your day-to-day work.
- You are highly organized and can run many projects and partner relationships at the same time. You work independently and set your own priorities.
- You are comfortable working with many stakeholders inside and outside the company. You are also comfortable in a regulated industry, where compliance and legal reviews are part of every partnership.
Location
This role is fully remote. Your working hours need to overlap with both US and European time zones.
