Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer specializing in Cloud and Infrastructure Security to strengthen and protect our cloud environments. This role focuses on identifying security risks, investigating root causes, implementing technical remediations, and developing automated solutions to prevent recurring vulnerabilities. The idóneo candidate combines strong AWS security expertise, infrastructure engineering skills, and independent problem-solving capabilities.

What You'll Do:

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

- Secure AWS environments, including IAM, VPC, S3, and security configurations.
- Review and improve access controls, network boundaries, and infrastructure security.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to implement secure infrastructure and deployment practices.

Vulnerability Management & Automation

- Investigate security findings, identify root causes, and implement verified remediations.
- Use Terraform and scripting languages such as Python or Bash to fix vulnerabilities and automate security workflows.
- Implement preventive guardrails to reduce recurring risks while maintaining production stability.

Security Reviews & Risk Management

- Evaluate application architectures, integrations, APIs, and data flows to identify security weaknesses.
- Apply Zero Trust principles, least-privilege access, and secure credential management.
- Document findings,



communicate technical risks, and recommend actionable solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

- Strong hands-on experience securing and troubleshooting AWS environments.
- Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation, root-cause analysis, and security architecture reviews.
- Understanding of production environments, change management, and safe deployment practices.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, autonomy, and an engineering mindset.

Experience with endpoint security (EDR/XDR), Kubernetes, CI/CD security, additional cloud platforms, or security compliance frameworks is a plus.
