Responsibilities

- Engineer robust application systems that can grow with demand while meeting defined business and technology requirements
- Participate in solution-design discussions by providing insight that informs architectural choices
- Partner with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure software is released on time and at the expected quality level
- Assess code contributions from peers and communicate constructive feedback that reinforces development standards
- Resolve sophisticated technical issues that appear during design, implementation, testing, or release activities
- Support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring and hands-on technical guidance
- Take part in planning sessions by helping clarify project boundaries and estimate required effort
- Monitor technology developments and adopt useful approaches that enhance team effectiveness
- Record important implementation decisions and development practices to preserve long-term technical knowledge
- Engage with business partners to refine priorities and ensure delivered functionality meets agreed expectations

Requirements

- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable software development position




- Working knowledge of AI principles and related platforms that can improve solution design and engineering workflows
- Deep understanding of Java Core concepts and object-oriented programming practices
- Demonstrated experience applying Java 8 capabilities in real-world development work
- Experience using Spring Boot to deliver and support server-side applications
- Practical background with cloud infrastructure or services in Microsoft Azure
- Awareness of Amazon Web Services for managing hosted applications and deployment environments
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines that enable automated integration, testing, and delivery
- Strong SQL skills for accessing and administering relational databases
- Experience creating independently deployable services based on microservices concepts
- Hands-on experience exposing and consuming REST APIs
- Ability to apply unit tests to protect reliability and verify expected application behavior
- Knowledge of Java-compatible NoSQL database technologies
- Professional written and spoken English at B2 level or higher
