We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with practical artificial intelligence experience to join our expanding engineering function. You will contribute to complex technology programs that require robust, scalable solutions and close collaboration across teams. Responsibilities

- Create scalable Java applications that deliver against business priorities and engineering standards
- Help define technical architecture by contributing informed ideas to design and solution-planning sessions
- Partner with product, engineering, and operational colleagues to deliver quality software within agreed schedules
- Perform code reviews and provide clear recommendations that improve maintainability and engineering consistency
- Analyze difficult software issues, determine their root causes,



and implement effective corrections
- Support junior developers through technical mentoring, practical advice, and regular knowledge sharing
- Contribute to delivery planning by evaluating effort, clarifying scope, and identifying timeline considerations
- Explore relevant technology developments and introduce beneficial practices into team processes
- Maintain useful technical documentation covering design rationale, implementation approaches, and development workflows
- Collaborate with business partners to clarify needs and confirm that delivered functionality meets expected outcomes

Requirements

- At least three years of professional experience in software engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to use them to improve software design and delivery practices
- Strong command of Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming techniques
- Hands-on development experience with Java 8 features and capabilities
- Proven ability to develop and support server-side applications with Spring Boot
- Experience working with cloud services and application environments in Microsoft Azure




- Familiarity with AWS for deploying, operating, and maintaining cloud-hosted solutions
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices for automated build and release workflows
- Proficiency in SQL for retrieving, managing, and maintaining relational data
- Experience designing distributed solutions using microservice-based architecture patterns
- Ability to create and consume RESTful interfaces for service integration
- Practical unit testing skills for validating application behavior and protecting code quality
- Familiarity with NoSQL data technologies used in Java-based systems
- Written and spoken English proficiency at B2 level or higher
