We’re looking for a Node.js / TypeScript Engineer to build and maintain integrations with property management systems and other external data sources. You’ll build data pipelines and external APIs that bring data into our platform reliably. You’ll work in a sprint-based team alongside the pod lead, other engineers and an AI engineer.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party property management systems and external data sources
- Build data pipelines that ingest, transform and deliver external data into the platform
- Develop and maintain external-facing APIs, including authentication, versioning and error handling
- Write clean, well-tested TypeScript code across backend services
- Debug and fix integration issues end to end
- Catch data quality issues at the source before they reach the rest of the system
- Add logging, monitoring and alerts as part of every delivery
- Work with an AI engineer on automation and smart data workflows
- Document integration patterns and data contracts for the team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience building or consuming third-party APIs, including rate limiting, pagination, error handling and retry logic
- Experience building data pipelines or transformation layers
- Solid MySQL skills
- Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced English

- Experience with property management platforms or real estate data
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools or agentic AI frameworks
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Background in proptech, fintech or data-heavy industries
