Business Development Representative – Medical Equipment (Remote – Colombia, Philippines, or Mexico)

Company Description

Our client designs and supplies medical equipment, including a growing line of stretchers for ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) and outpatient-based labs (OBLs). Alongside their core construction and project management business, they're building out this equipment line and looking for a driven sales professional to own the pipeline.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative, you will run a dual mandate: generating new business and closing deals independently, while keeping the sales lead focused on strategic relationships instead of day-to-day prospecting. You'll cold call, qualify, and book meetings — and close deals yourself wherever possible.

This role is for someone who is self-motivated, resilient on the phone, and comfortable owning a sales pipeline with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Cold call and prospect within ASCs and OBLs (hospital sales are out of scope for this role)




- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify serious buyers
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities

Meeting Setting & Closing
- Schedule qualified meetings for the sales lead with high-potential accounts
- Independently close smaller-ticket deals within the stretcher line
- Manage the full sales cycle for deals you own, from first contact to close
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, calls, and deal status in the CRM
- Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasts to the sales lead
- Flag at-risk deals or stalled conversations proactively

Requirements
- 2+ years of inside sales or outbound sales experience
- Proven track record of cold calling and pipeline generation
- Comfortable working EST hours
- Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle without close supervision

Strong Plus:
- Experience selling to ASCs, OBLs, or in medical/he
