We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for Colombia operations, maintaining compliance with local labor laws, and supporting continuous improvement in payroll operations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and data analysis.

- Process and audit payroll for Colombia in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Maintain and update payroll records in the payroll systems.
- Prepare payroll reports and analytics for internal stakeholders and audits
- Support compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and internal controls.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and processes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Professional in accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Experience with integral payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, SISCO, Buk, etc) is highly desirable.




- Strong understanding of payroll regulations in Colombia.
- Certification such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) is a plus.
