Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support product and process quality engineering across our aerospace and defense operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, resolve complex quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will apply quality engineering principles, analytical tools, and problem-solving methodologies to improve processes, ensure compliance, and support customer requirements.
Your mission: to ensure the quality and reliability of our products by identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing effective corrective actions, and driving proactive improvements across our operations.




This onsite position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems, plans, and protocols to ensure product and process conformance.
- Perform root cause analysis, escape management, and corrective action activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Support both Program and Product Quality Engineering activities, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead investigations into product and process issues and provide daily support for real-time problem resolution and RTPR activities.
- Develop and implement proactive quality initiatives and recommend process or engineering changes to address internal and customer-driven quality concerns.
