As a Localization Engineer, you'll be the link between our translation team and our platform engineering team, making sure the tools behind every translated website run smoothly.You’ll be working on a range of clients' websites. That means exposure to a huge range of sites and technologies, working out how each one is built and how our technology can translate it more efficiently.What you'll doKeep our in-house translation tools up, available and working properly for the translation teamReview content coming into the translation queue and spot patterns of repetition, such as product names in a checkout message or lists of materialsUse regular expressions and our "reserve terms" technology to translate repeated content once and reuse it, so our customers pay less. This is one of the things that sets us apart from our competitors.Work with translation account managers to improve how content is handled,



and train them on what's happening technically in the toolTurn feedback from the translation team into clear requests for our product teamWhat we're looking forYou don't need to be a developer. This is a technical role where curiosity and the ability to learn matter more than knowing a particular tool.You can read and understand HTMLYou pick up new systems quickly.
