About the Position
Pond is seeking an Engineering Estimator to join our growing Energy team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this role, you will support oil & gas engineering projects for clients across the United States by developing accurate and competitive manhour estimates for proposals, budgets, change orders, and project planning.

The adecuado candidate will have 5+ years of experience in engineering estimating, project controls, engineering design, project management, or a related professional-services environment. Experience estimating engineering manhours for oil & gas facilities, tanks and terminals, and pipeline projects is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to project planning and successful execution across a variety of energy projects.

Essential Job Duties
• Develop detailed engineering manhour estimates for proposals, budgets, work authorizations, change orders, and internal planning activities.
• Review requests for proposals, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, schedules,



and other technical documents to establish estimating requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering discipline leads, project managers, technical leaders, and business development teams to validate project scope, deliverables, staffing, and execution strategies.
• Prepare estimate work breakdown structures by discipline, project phase, deliverable, activity, and milestone.
• Apply historical project data, productivity factors, benchmarking, engineering judgment, and company standards to develop accurate and defensible labor-hour estimates.
• Document estimate assumptions, exclusions, clarifications, risks, constraints, and the basis of estimate.
• Evaluate project schedules, staffing plans, workload requirements, and resource availability to support realistic project execution plans.
