Data Engineer (dbt) at Baires

DevWhat You'll Do:- Design, implement, and maintain robust data transformation workflows using dbt to process large-scale datasets.- Develop and optimize modular data models using star and snowflake schemas to support complex analytical requirements.- Write and tune advanced SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing and leverage cloud data warehouse capabilities.- Apply software engineering best practices to the analytics workflow,



including version control and documentation.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards and implement automated tests within the transformation layer.- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance to ensure data reliability, freshness, and scalability across the organization.

What we are looking for:- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Software Engineering.- Proven expertise in building and optimizing data transformations using dbt (Core or Cloud).- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex query development and performance tuning.- Strong experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Big

Query, or Redshift.- Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including star and snowflake schemas.- Advanced proficiency in English.
