Senior Software Engineer - C++/Python/Linux/AI

Key Responsibilities

- Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
- Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
- Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.
- Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold the highest quality standards.
- Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
- Take ownership of projects, from technical design to a successful launch.

Minimum Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise with at least 5+ years of experience in one specified technology.
- 5+ years of experience in C / C++.
- Multithreaded programming environment
- Network protocols working experience
- 3+ years experience in Linux
- 2+ years experience in using containerized environments
- Oracle, PL/SQL




- Python

- Knowledgeable and hands on experience using Helix Atlas, Aire
- AI-Assisted Development Skills

- Daily use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, Cursor) for coding, refactoring, test generation and PR review, with a habit of verifying AI output.
- Prompt and context engineering for code tasks, such as writing clear specs, instruction files and reusable prompts for AI agents.
- Using MCP servers and connectors (e.g., Git Hub, Jira) inside AI-assisted development workflows.
- Familiarity with AI guardrails in the SDLC: human review of AI-generated changes, secure handling of code and secrets, and basic agent evaluation.

- Experience in engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Experience Desired

- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines - Nice to have
- Perl - Nice to have
- Java and key Java-based frameworks (Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, Apache, etc) - Nice to have
- Knowledge of source control tools.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, properties).
- Knowledge of protocols like HTTP, and serialization formats like JSON and XML.
- Knowledge of document databases.
- Experience with Unit testing.
