We’re looking for someone who is commercially astute, analytical and customer-focused, with the ability to operate confidently across both procurement and sales.
You will ideally have experience within builders’ merchanting, construction, distribution, manufacturing, retail or another closely related sector.
You will have:
- Proven commercial, procurement, buying or sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the construction or building materials sector.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial terms.
- A strong understanding of purchasing, pricing, margin and stock.
- A track record of improving commercial performance.
- Strong analytical and financial awareness.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Training will also be provided
