Who You Are

You’re a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise, experienced in operating, stabilizing, and improving large-scale Kubernetes platforms. You focus on operational excellence, reliability, and efficiency, acting as a key technical partner for engineering teams running workloads on Kubernetes.

You are comfortable diagnosing complex operational issues, defining standards, and driving improvements through automation, observability, and governance. Your work directly impacts platform reliability and developer productivity.

What You’ll Do

- Act as the primary operational expert for Kubernetes, collaborating directly with internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex platform issues.
- Analyze recurring operational problems to identify patterns and drive improvements in processes, tooling, and systems.




- Partner with EKS technical leads to run experiments in development environments to accurately determine workload resource requirements.
- Develop and implement automation for Kubernetes and EKS workload configurations to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
- Define and standardize alerts and notifications for Kubernetes workloads, creating a clear taxonomy based on compute patterns such as web services, event processing, and API servers.
- Participate in defining and documenting Kubernetes and EKS platform standards, contributing to governance and best practices.
- Improve overall platform reliability, efficiency, and operability through continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and EKS operations.
- Proven hands-on experience operating production Kubernetes environments.
- Strong background in diagnosing and resolving complex operational issues in distributed systems.
- Experience driving automation, standardization, and operational improvements.
- Solid understanding of observability, alerting, and monitoring for Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams as an operational and DevOps partner.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence platform practices across teams.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

- Experience working on internal platforms serving multiple engineering teams.
- Background in large-scale, fault-tolerant infrastructure environments.
- Experience improving governance and standards for Kubernetes platforms.
