Collins Aerospace is seeking a SMT Pick-and-Place Programmer III to support the programming, setup, optimization, and continuous improvement of automated SMT equipment used in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. As an SMT Pick-and-Place Programmer III , you will develop and maintain machine programs, component libraries, feeder assignments, and production setup information to ensure accurate, efficient, and repeatable PCB assembly. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Materials teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support new product introductions and production improvements. This is an individual contributor position.

This onsite position is based at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do:
- Create, modify, verify, and optimize pick-and-place machine programs for SMT PCB assemblies using CAD data, Gerber files, centroid files, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Develop and maintain component libraries, including part numbers, manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), package types, dimensions, specifications, and component characteristics.
- Verify component placement coordinates, orientation, polarity, rotation, and package information to ensure accurate PCB assembly.
- Set up and maintain feed
