Payroll Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Company: Bet On You Management & Marketing LLC | Location: Remote worldwide

Reports to: CEO | English required; Spanish is a plus

Keep the financial details accurate and the business informed. Work directly with the CEO to make sure payroll is prepared on time, invoices are paid correctly, customer balances are collected, and financial reports show a clear picture of cash and expenses.

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys hands-on execution, is excellent with Excel and numbers, and follows each task through to completion. You will own the daily finance workflow and improve the checklists and controls that make it reliable.

What you will own

· Prepare payroll each cycle. Validate approved hours, attendance, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and employee changes; resolve discrepancies and submit an accurate payroll package for approval.

· Coordinate with the payroll provider or accountant, track processing deadlines, reconcile payroll reports to bank activity and accounting records, and respond to employee payroll questions with discretion.

· Manage accounts payable. Receive, verify, code, and record vendor invoices; confirm supporting documents and approvals; monitor due dates; and prepare payment schedules for authorized release.

· Maintain vendor balances and records. Reconcile statements, investigate duplicate or incorrect charges, track credits and refunds, and verify changes to payment details through the approved process.

· Manage accounts receivable. Prepare accurate customer invoices and statements, record and apply receipts, maintain an aging report, and follow up on overdue balances professionally.

· Resolve billing and collection discrepancies. Coordinate disputed invoices, short payments,

unapplied cash, and approved credit notes; document actions and escalate issues that need a decision.

· Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll clearing accounts. Investigate unmatched items, retain support, and coordinate corrections with the accountant.

· Maintain cash-flow forecasts, expense summaries, and budget-versus-presente reports in Excel. Flag upcoming payroll and payment needs, collection delays, and material variances to the CEO.

· Support month-end close with accurate schedules, supporting documents, account reconciliations, and requested journal-entry information. Maintain organized records for the accountant and management.

· Document finance procedures, calendars, and approval steps. Track unresolved items, protect confidential financial information, and improve accuracy and turnaround time within the finance function.

Why join us

Your work will have a visible impact on employees, customers, and the company’s financial health. You will work closely with the CEO, take ownership of recurring finance responsibilities, and develop practical accounting and analytical skills as the business grows.

What you bring

· Hands-on experience in accounting or finance, with practical exposure to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. You can explain what you personally prepared, checked, and completed.

· Advanced Excel skills: PivotTables,

XLOOKUP or equivalent lookups, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, date calculations, structured tables, and dependable error checks. Power Query is a plus.

· Strong numerical accuracy and quick mathematical reasoning. You can calculate percentages, commissions, differences, and payment balances, then validate the result.

· Sound accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits, accruals, prepaid expenses, aging schedules, bank reconciliations, and the difference between profit and cash flow.

· Experience using accounting software and a payroll system or provider. You can learn our tools, maintain clean records, and explain how reports reconcile to their source.

· Reliability, confidentiality, and attention to detail. You meet recurring deadlines, preserve an audit trail, and raise discrepancies before they become payment errors.

· Clear professional English for working with the CEO, vendors, customers, and payroll partners. Spanish is welcome but is not required.

· Ability to organize competing deadlines, follow established approvals, and improve a finance procedure without losing control of daily work.

Preferred background: 2–4 years of relevant experience and education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is welcome. Strong recent graduates with accounting internships may be considered with a structured training and review plan.

Additional strengths: QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software; experience with the company’s payroll jurisdiction and provider; and commission-based payroll. Experience in insurance, marketing, telemarketing, or a service business is helpful.
