We are seeking a Contractor Engagement Partner to own the coordination of incoming client demand for roles requiring external contractors or subcontractors, from the moment demand is raised through fulfillment.
This role sits at the intersection of the recruitment team, contracting/vendor partners, and client-side stakeholders, ensuring each contractor requirement is understood, priced, vetted for contractual compliance, and routed efficiently, acting as the single accountable owner for the demand-to-fulfillment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for new client demand that may require a contractor/subcontractor rather than a full-time resource
Capture and clarify role, skill needs, timelines, and location/region constraints directly from requesting Demand Owners and/or Demand Coordinator
Engage stakeholders raising the demand to understand business context and evaluate whether a contractor engagement is the right fit
Set expectations on timelines, rate ranges, and the contracting process with both internal and client-facing stakeholders
Coordinate with Admin office for items including signing up new agencies, extensions of contracts, speeding up any backlog, or removing any blockers to help save revenue loss
Convey demand details clearly to the recruitment team including rates and any specific info needed
Clarify with TA any questions related to engagement model, agency usage, or location usage
Evaluate proposed rates with stakeholders and vendors to determine expected margins for each contractor engagement
Flag rate or margin scenarios that fall outside approved thresholds and escalate for approval where needed
Review existing contractor/subcontractor agreements to determine what engagement types, rates, and terms are permitted
Identify contractual restrictions or gaps,
such as scope limitations, exclusivity clauses, or regional restrictions, before a role is progressed
Track each demand from inception through fulfillment to ensure nothing stalls between recruitment, vendor, Admin Office, and stakeholder handoffs
Requirements5+ years of experience working with contracting engagements end to end, including rate structures, margins, agency vetting/performance monitoring, and typical contract terms
Experience working with or alongside recruitment/talent acquisition teams on sourcing, fulfillment, and tracking delays/blockers
Skills in reading and interpreting vendor/subcontractor contracts to determine what is and isn't allowed
Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently with both internal teams and client-side demand owners
Capability to challenge demand constructively and advise on contingent workforce
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
