About Nomad Equity
Nomad Equity is a U.S.-based short-term rental management company managing 45+ vacation rental properties across Lake Tahoe, Southern California, Dallas, Oregon, and Hawaii. Hostaway is our system of record. It connects to Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com, PriceLabs drives our pricing, and Monday.com tracks our work. When data drifts between these systems, guests see wrong information and we lose bookings.
The role
We're hiring a Listing Quality & Launch Associate to own our listings from creation through ongoing accuracy. You will create new listings, publish them to every channel, clear our Listing QA backlog, and find and fix the root cause of each mismatch (a mapping, a sync setting, a channel override) so it stops coming back.
This is not a generic VA role. It is a technical, detail-heavy role for someone who understands how Hostaway, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and PriceLabs pass data to each other.
Location and schedule
- Remote. We are hiring from South America, Eastern Europe, and the Philippines.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Our team works 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. You must overlap at least 4 hours every day with that window. Your remaining hours are adaptable.
- This is a mostly asynchronous role: the 4-hour overlap is for live check-ins with the team, and the rest of the work is async.
What you'll do
Launch new listings
- Build new properties in Hostaway: details, bedrooms and beds, amenities, fees, taxes, house rules, photos, titles, and descriptions
- Create, connect, and publish listings on Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and our direct booking site, and confirm each is live and matches Hostaway
- Set up PriceLabs mappings and base/min/max prices before a listing takes bookings
- Complete tax registration numbers, permits, and channel-specific requirements before go-live
- Run a standard go-live checklist on every new listing
Keep listings accurate
- Work our Listing QA board in Monday.com daily: investigate, fix, close with a note on what changed, and escalate what you can't resolve
- Know which fields push from Hostaway to each channel, which can only be edited on the channel, and which get overwritten on the next sync; diagnose sync failures and delays
- Catch wrong or placeholder prices, and keep pet policies, cleaning fees, deposits, taxes, and house rules consistent on every channel
- Update guest FAQs and house guides when something changes on site
- Build checklists and templates so mistakes don't repeat, and report weekly on open/closed items and recurring patterns
Requirements
- 3+ years in short-term rental operations with deep, hands-on Hostaway experience (required)
- Real PriceLabs experience, including how it connects to a PMS (required)
- Expert-level Airbnb and VRBO host tools; working knowledge of the Booking.com extranet
- Experience building new listings from scratch on Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com and mapping them in a channel manager
- Hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in your daily work (for example auditing listings, comparing data across systems, automating repetitive checks). Be ready to describe a real workflow.
- Proven ability to trace a data problem across systems and explain what caused it
- Very strong attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English (non-negotiable)
- Reliable high-speed internet, webcam, headset, and a quiet, professional workspace
Nice to have: Hostaway API / webhook / Zapier / Make experience; U.S. lodging-tax and STR permit knowledge; portfolios of 50+ units; Spanish.
Tools you'll use daily: Hostaway, PriceLabs, Airbnb / VRBO / Booking.com host tools, Monday.com, Slack, Gmail, Claude
What success looks like
- New listings go live on every channel correct on day one
- Listing QA backlog cleared, then kept near zero
- Each recurring mismatch gets a documented root cause and a permanent fix
- Zero placeholder or wrong prices sold
Compensation
- $8 to $15 USD per hour, depending on experience and English fluency
- Full-time, long-term engagement
- Paid bi-weekly (every two weeks), plus a Christmas bonus
