About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Contador Público to own the accounting and tax preparation for our Colombian entity and to support accounting across our US entities. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor , this role pairs Colombian statutory and tax compliance with hands-on US entity accounting and ownership of the accounts receivable cycle.
You will work alongside our Colombia-based Junior Accountant , who owns accounts payable. Between you, the two of you cover the transactional cycle end to end.
This is a hands-on role on a small team, with real ownership of the Colombian compliance calendar and exposure well beyond a single set of books. It is adecuado for someone who has worked in small to mid-sized companies or in the Colombian subsidiary of a multinational , where adaptability, ownership,



and wearing multiple hats are essential, and who wants scope beyond a single set of books.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Own Colombian statutory accounting and tax compliance, including:
- The full accounting cycle under NIIF as adopted in Colombia (Decreto 2420 de 2015), on the PUC, through monthly and annual financial statements
- ICA and retención de ICA in each municipality where the company is registered
- Información exógena, including the third‑party reconciliation work through the year that keeps the annual filing routine
