This is not a generalist bookkeeping role, law firm accounting is its own discipline, and we hire for it specifically.You'll own the monthly accounting cycle for a portfolio of law firm clients: coding, reconciliations, and financial statements.The most critical piece is trust accounting - 3-way trust reconciliations are a non-negotiable part of the job, and we need someone who has done this before, not someone who will learn on the job.We value people who are proactive and flag things early, but who also know where their scope ends and check in before acting outside it.Own the monthly close cycle: transaction coding, bank reconciliations, and clean financial statements for assigned law firm clientsPerform 3-way trust reconciliations (client ledger, bank statement, trust register)
