Role Description This full-time, on-site Desarrollador de Negocios role at Meltec is based in Bogota, D.C. The position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and expanding Meltec’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day activities include prospecting potential customers, conducting market and competitor analysis, preparing and delivering commercial proposals, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company objectives. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure that client requirements are understood and met, monitoring sales performance against targets, and preparing regular reports on pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market trends. The Desarrollador de Negocios actively represents Meltec at meetings, industry events, and client visits to strengthen brand recognition and generate new leads.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in business development, sales prospecting, and account management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.




• Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals in B2B environments.
• Experience conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and developing data-driven commercial strategies.
• Proficiency in preparing professional presentations, proposals, and reports, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work on-site in Bogota, D.C., manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis; familiarity with Meltec’s industry or related sectors is an advantage.
• Professional fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus for regional coordination and international partners.
