The Qualifications We Seek

Education and Professional Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software engineering or a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- At least 3 years of production-level Python development experience using modern web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask

Technical Skills and Expertise

- Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with background job processing and task queues, such as Celery or similar technologies
- In-depth knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including pytest or equivalent tools
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration
- Working knowledge of frontend development technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

Professional Skills and Competencies

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective technical solutions
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a software development team

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in frontend application development using React and TypeScript

Your Daily Tasks

Essential Duties

- Develop new application features based on the product roadmap using efficient,



well-structured Python code and established software design patterns.
- Maintain and enhance existing application code, automated tests, and software functionality.
- Develop and integrate applications with multiple third-party RESTful APIs.
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale software solutions aligned with organizational strategies and business objectives.
- Apply modern software development principles, methodologies, tools, and processes to support new business capabilities.
- Collaborate with software development teams to define technical specifications and requirements for new applications.
- Write clean, high-quality, well-documented code to deliver complete applications within established timelines.
- Perform unit and integration tests before application deployment.
- Evaluate application functionality, performance, and reliability to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Conduct software design and code reviews to maintain technical accuracy, code quality, and development best practices.
- Integrate software applications with third-party products and existing IT infrastructure.
- Maintain and expand technical expertise in emerging technologies, software products, and application versions.
- Review business requirements and data models, and translate them into reliable applications and scalable software architectures.
