About the Role
We are looking for an organized and proactive Dispatcher to support a growing tree care company based in Northern California.
This role focuses on scheduling jobs, coordinating field crews, managing daily routes, and making sure everything is ready before work begins.
You will be the main point of contact between field crews, customers, and the operations team. The idóneo candidate is comfortable managing changing schedules, handling multiple requests, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Dispatch
• Schedule customer appointments and service jobs
• Assign jobs to field crews based on availability, location, and job requirements
• Plan and optimize daily routes to minimize travel time
• Monitor daily dispatch schedules and job progress
• Adjust schedules due to delays, cancellations, or urgent requests
• Communicate with crews throughout the day
• Send job details, instructions, and schedule updates




• Coordinate with customers regarding appointment changes and service updates

Job Preparation & Logistics
• Make sure job information is complete before scheduled work begins
• Coordinate permits, approvals, and other job requirements
• Assist with arranging equipment rentals, cranes, and subcontractors as needed
• Coordinate traffic-control requirements and utility-related arrangements
• Confirm job site access, parking, and other logistical needs
• Follow up with customers regarding permits, neighbor permissions, and Letters of Permission
• Track outstanding requirements and ensure everything is ready before the scheduled job

Field Coordination & Administrative Support
• Act as the main point of contact between customers, field crews, and operations
• Follow up with crews regarding job status and completion
• Verify completed jobs and provide information needed for invoicing
• Update job details, schedules, and customer
