Job Description
Support and operate a production SaaS environment within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Help mature SRE practices across the Cloud Operations and broader engineering organization. Improve application and infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, and observability. Assess the current Datadog environment and identify monitoring and observability gaps. Develop a roadmap to improve the organization's Datadog implementation. Support consolidation of two existing Datadog tenants into one standardized environment. Improve application monitoring, including Real User Monitoring. Develop and maintain SLIs, SLOs, dashboards, alerts, and reliability standards. Reduce unnecessary alerting and improve actionable monitoring. Partner with application and product teams to increase their ownership of application reliability. Participate in production incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Automate Azure infrastructure and operational processes using Terraform and scripting. Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation.



Help drive adoption of consistent SRE practices across engineering teams. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
Skills and Requirements
SRE experience: Demonstrated experience implementing and improving Site Reliability Engineering practices. Datadog: Strong hands-on experience with Datadog monitoring and observability. Azure: Strong experience operating production workloads within Microsoft Azure. Azure observability: Experience with tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights. Terraform: Strong hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience. Production operations: Experience supporting highly available production applications. SaaS: Experience supporting SaaS environments, ideally multi-tenant applications. SLIs/SLOs: Experience developing or managing service reliability measurements and objectives.
