We're hiring a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) at our POD 5 communities (San Marbeya, San Cervantes, San Palacio) in Chandler & Tempe, AZ. In this role, you will work at one of our beautiful communities and represent Mark-Taylor through the delivery of exceptional customer service while contributing to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the grounds and interiors.

Compensation

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.

Requirements

- High-energy, self-motivated work ethic with the ability to maintain productivity throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail, with an eye for cleanliness and maintaining the overall appearance of the community.
- Ability to perform general groundskeeping, cleaning,



and upkeep to maintain community standards.
- Ability to work independently while managing daily tasks and priorities.
- Dependable and proactive, with a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Willingness to work cohesively as a part of a team.
- Prior experience working as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related position is especially desirable.
- A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will

- Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
- Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pool(s), tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs etc.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
