Staff Accountant is responsible for all aspect of accounting and will aid leadership with accounting related tasks. This individual should possess a high degree of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ideally a medical accounting background.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Preparation of journal entries for accounting transactions and assisting with the month-end closing activities for corporate entities

- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of various balance sheet and income statement accounts (e.g., cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.).

- Analyze account variances and discrepancies, researching and resolving any reconciling items in a timely manner.





- Identify opportunities to enhance reconciliation processes and contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements.

- Assist with supporting documentation for tax filings

- Documentation of processes and internal controls

- Other duties supporting the financial management function of the company as required

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field, Relevant qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance (CPA/CA qualified or willingness to study CPA/CA) preferred
- EXPERIENCE:2+ years of relevant accounting experience, Experience in managing bank reconciliation and preparation of financial reports
- SOFTWARE:Proficient with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel
- PERSONALITY MATCH/SOFT SKILLS:Unwavering confidentiality and integrity due to the sensitivity of financial information, Excellent communication skills, Team player with the ability to work independently
