Role Description
We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our on-site team in Bogotá, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, contacting customers through phone, email, and other approved channels, and negotiating payment arrangements to recover outstanding balances.
You will monitor account status, document customer interactions accurately, follow up on outstanding payments, and escalation complex cases when necessary. You will also collaborate with Customer Service and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes, clarify account discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Work Schedule: 42 hours per week, with 2 days off.
Work Modality: On-site – Bogotá, D.C.
Qualifications




- Previous experience in debt collection, cash collection, customer service, or financial operations. (Desirable)
- Strong negotiation and payment recovery skills, with the ability to manage overdue accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of finance, billing, account reconciliation, and payment processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, collections platforms, and basic office software.
- B2+ is a MUST
- Previous call center experience is an advantage.
