Overview
This role supports Gallagher operations across Latin America. It brings together physical security, employee safety, threat and incident management, emergency preparedness, security intelligence, security technology, vendor oversight, and regional risk reduction.
You’ll help turn global and Americas security strategy into practical local action across a multi country region. That means working across different laws, languages, cultures, infrastructure limits, and threat conditions, while keeping Gallagher standards clear, usable, and consistent. Travel is expected for around 30 to 50 percent of the time, including regular cross border trips.
How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll run the day to day execution of Gallagher’s General Safety & Security work across Latin America. You’ll be the main in region contact for security matters, helping country and business leaders make sensible decisions when the risk picture changes. You’ll monitor local conditions such as crime, civil unrest, political issues, natural hazards,
transport disruption, and infrastructure problems, then turn that information into practical advice for the business.
Day to day, you’ll carry out physical security reviews, site audits, readiness checks, and country risk assessments. You’ll spot gaps, document vulnerabilities, and follow remediation through to completion. You’ll also support new office openings, moves, closures, consolidations, and acquisitions by helping shape access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, duress alarms, and other security measures that fit the local environment.
You’ll also play a key part in incident response and crisis coordination. That includes supporting investigations, preserving and translating incident details when needed, joining regional incident and crisis calls, and helping with employee accountability, emergency communications, evacuation, shelter in place, and relocation planning when required. When travel, events, or executive visits involve higher risk, you’ll work with intelligence, travel risk, and executive protection partners to help plan safe and practical support.
