The role requires extensive interactions with customers via written and verbal communications.ResponsibilitiesAnswer questions on system functionality and/or configurationAnalyzing complex business requests and interpreting them for internal engineering teams and external IT and business staffTriaging, recreating,



and documenting issues to provide detailed problem descriptions for coordination with engineering or product managementWorking with Clients to obtain business and technical specifications to help implement next generation software solutionsUnderstand the importance of customer relations and supporting software usersWork with various team members to satisfy business requirements and provide solutions to software requestsCreate documentation that clearly demonstrates proper methodology and/orenhancement to be delivered solves the business problem reportedParticipating in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementationWorking closely with our software engineering teams to integrate release software into Client environmentsProviding guidance and mentoring for less experienced consultantsParticipating in company building exercises, such as recruiting or delivery of internal training coursesEnsuring successful completion of personal and team deliverablesComplete administrative tasks required to track request through lifecycleCurate Knowledge Base contentAnd other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related disciplines that have an analytical componentVery good written and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to travel occasionally during the weekStrong problem solving and/or analytical skillsAbility to embrace and leverage new technologyBasic understanding of database systems, data models, data migrations, and experience using SQLBasic understanding of software developmentAptitude to build on conceptsStrong desire for continuous learningStrong interpersonal skillsFluent in English, both written & verbalPreferred SkillsDemonstrated technical process including solving complex problems, programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architectureDemonstrated leadership skills such as managing project schedules and fostering team collaborationAspiration or work experience in the oil and gas industryAspiration or work experience in cost accounting, revenue accounting, and/or financial systemsAspiration or work experience in developing and implementing solutions for Client needs#J-18808-Ljbffr
