Staff Accountant

? Location: CAMACOL (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

? Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations through general accounting and accounts payable activities.

You will work closely with the Accounting team and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, classify, and process accounts payable transactions.
- Process vendor invoices within company systems.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and prepare invoices with supporting documentation.
- Record monthly journal entries, including adjustments and accruals.
- Record and reconcile daily cash transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.




- Support the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and reports.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Technician certification.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Experience processing invoices and handling accounting transactions.

Technical Skills

- Ability to manage high volumes of transactional data.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting processes.
- Experience with invoice processing and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
