This role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience building backend services with Django, developing modern web applications with Vue.js, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices that support high-volume, mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Django and Vue.js
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices
- Mentor other engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



or a related technical field
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, design patterns, and modern development practices
- Strong experience developing backend applications using Python
- Experience building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
- Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience developing frontend applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript
- Experience designing and implementing microservices and service-oriented architectures
- Experience integrating internal and third-party APIs
- Proficiency with Git for version control
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with automated testing, test-driven development (TDD), and code reviews
- Experience documenting software functionality and reviewing the work of other engineers
