At CGI, we are seeking a DevOps professional to work on an international project.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Conversational English level B2 or higher.
- More than 3 years of experience.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and operational responsibilities
- DevOps, platform engineering, or environment support experience
- Strong scripting and automation skills, especially PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and deployment automation
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Ability to automate manual processes and improve repeatability
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong coordination skills across application, infrastructure, security, and release teams
- Familiarity with structured change and release processes
- Mainframe/JCL familiarity is a plus, otherwise, strong transferable technical skills in areas such as Python, Bash, Java, or SQL

Responsibilities In the near term, the resource will be expected to learn and take ownership of client-specific legacy operational processes and tasks, including:
- Monitoring scheduled batch processing
- Responding to job failures
- Supporting Control-M and scheduling activities
- Making routine job and date-related updates
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, year-end, and release-related processing
- Assisting with production release activities
- Documenting and tracking production issues
- Coordinating with application, infrastructure, scheduling, and release teams

These responsibilities are part of the existing support model and can be learned through shadowing and transition with the current resource. The role also provides an opportunity to apply modern DevOps, scripting, automation,



and cloud capabilities to improve how these operational processes are supported over time.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with IBM mainframe environments
- JCL / TSO exposure
- Control-M / Control-D or similar enterprise schedulers
- Jenkins, Octopus, GitHub, or similar DevOps tooling
- Splunk or similar monitoring platforms
- DB2 / SQL
- Informatica PowerCenter
- JIRA / Confluence

Additional Skills
- The idóneo candidate is someone who is comfortable learning and supporting legacy enterprise processes while bringing modern DevOps, automation, and cloud skills to the role.
