We are hiring! Senior US Bookkeeper (100% Remote - Latam)
At Mighty Nonprofits, we help mission-driven organizations in the U.S. strengthen their financial operations. We are looking for a high-performing, self-directed Senior US Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients.
We are seeking a Bookkeeper with 2–5 years of experience with U.S.-based companies to manage daily full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in Quickbooks online.
What you need to apply:
- Experience: 2–5 years of solid full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S.-based companies.
- Software: Advanced, active daily use of QuickBooks Online (QBO) within the last 12 months (Desktop-only does not qualify).
- English: B2+ / C1 (Advanced) (both written and verbal) to communicate directly with U.S. clients. Must be comfortable participating in live meetings, providing financial updates, and managing written communication directly with English-speaking clients.
- Hours: 40 hours/week, aligned to PST timezone.
- Core Competencies: Full-cycle bookkeeping, bank and client account reconciliations,
administrative support (email management), confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks for assigned clients.
- Complete client account reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Maintain well-organized financial records within QuickBooks.
Administrative & Additional Support
- Assist with email management.
- Provide general support for ad-hoc tasks as requested.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and responsiveness in all communications.
