The Role

As a Squad Leader, you will direct a team of highly skilled infrastructure engineers, entrusted with managing critical client operations, service layers, and pioneering initiatives that chart the future of Kyndryl.

Your role extends beyond traditional leadership. You will be the go‑to technical leader in your domain—guiding, motivating, and providing hands‑on technical support to your squad. You will oversee operational shifts, guarantee strict SLA compliance for client platforms, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless and effective day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Squad Leadership & Technical Guidance: Direct, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers, providing hands‑on technical support and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance work environment.
- Operational & SLA Management: Oversee client operational shifts, manage service layers, and ensure strict compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)



to guarantee high availability and operational effectiveness.
- Incident Escalation & Operational Continuity: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring rapid resolution and platform stability across client environments.
- Agile Delivery & Process Optimization: Run Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, optimize operational workflows, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience leading technical teams in IT Services, Technology Consulting, or Managed Services companies.




- Technical Domain Expertise: Strong hands‑on background and technical knowledge in:Linux AdministrationKubernetes & ContainerizationMiddleware Technologies (Service Layer / Middleware operations)
- Team Leadership & Operational Governance: Proven experience directing engineering groups, managing operational shifts, and ensuring client SLA compliance.
- Workplace Model: Hybrid work model preferred.
- Language Requirement: English is not required (Spanish proficiency required).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related technical fields.
- Certifications: Linux/Kubernetes certifications, ITIL, CSM, PMP, or other relevant technical/agile credentials.
