Job Title: QC Inspector / Senior QC Inspector

Location: Colombia and Venezuela

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QC Inspector / Senior QC Inspector to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring that materials, equipment, installations, and work comply with applicable project specifications, codes, and standards during procurement, construction, and precommissioning.

Responsibilities

- Inspect materials, equipment, and work within the assigned discipline.
- Verify compliance with applicable technical requirements, codes, and standards.
- Perform, witness, or review tests within the scope of the inspector's qualifications and certifications.
- Prepare inspection records and reports, identify deviations, and follow up on findings.
- Coordinate inspection activities with technical teams and contractors.
- Carry out inspection duties with minimal supervision.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable industry standards and specifications.
- Relevant experience in the contract scope, such as oil and gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, or communications projects.
- QC Inspector: 5 years of overall experience, 3 years of inspection specialty experience, 2 years of experience in the contract scope.
- Senior QC Inspector: 8 years of overall experience, 5 years of inspection specialty experience, 3 years of experience in the contract scope.

Qualifications

- Welding and NDT: AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.1 or an approved equivalent.
- Mechanical: Working knowledge of applicable ASME Sections I, V, VIII, and IX.
- Coating:



Proven knowledge of coating applications and recognized industry standards.
- HVAC: Knowledge of SMACNA, the Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks, or equivalent standards.
- Electrical: Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, IEC, or equivalent standards.
- Instrumentation: At least 3 years of documented experience in instrumentation and control systems.
- Rotating Equipment: At least 4 years of hands‑on inspection experience with pumps, compressors, and other related equipment.
- Civil: Knowledge of IBC or equivalent standards and applicable construction techniques.
- Batch Plants: Direct experience inspecting asphalt/concrete mix ingredients under applicable ASTM, AASHTO, or ACI requirements.
- Plumbing and Fire Protection: Knowledge of UPC, IPC, ASME B31.9, NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 99, IBC, UFC, or equivalent standards.
- Telecommunications: Knowledge of OSP and PDS installations, BICSI‑TDMM, and applicable electrical safety codes.
