This is a highly technical, hands-on position focused on software development, EDI integrations, troubleshooting, and system optimization. We are looking for candidates with direct technical experience implementing and maintaining integrations, rather than professionals whose backgrounds are primarily managerial or supervisory. As an EDI Integration Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) workflows that enable seamless, secure, and reliable communication between our systems, clients, and business partners. Key Responsibilities
• EDI Development & Integration: Map, translate, and process EDI documents to support seamless data exchange between internal and external systems.
• Workflow Development: Design, implement, maintain, and optimize EDI integration workflows.
• System Monitoring: Monitor EDI transactions, identify integration failures, and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Platform Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our proprietary EDI solution to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Partner Integrations: Collaborate directly with external EDI partners to establish, test, and maintain integrations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues,



developing effective and sustainable solutions. Required Qualifications
• Professional

Experience:
At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in software development, system integrations, or a closely related technical role.
• Database Management: Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including querying, troubleshooting, and database optimization.
• API Development: Practical experience developing, integrating, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services.
• Software Testing: Experience writing unit tests and feature tests to ensure code quality, functionality, and system reliability.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment.
• Hands-On Technical Background: Demonstrated experience actively developing, configuring, implementing, or troubleshooting technical solutions. Important: This is not a project management or team leadership position. Candidates must have practical technical experience and be comfortable working directly with code, integrations, databases, and system troubleshooting. Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are considered a plus:
• Experience with EDI document mapping, encoding, decoding, and translation.
• Familiarity with EDI standards and transaction formats, including ANSI X12 or EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of EDI communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP.
• Experience with open-source EDI interchange servers, such as Mendelson AS2.




• Experience working with proprietary EDI interchange platforms.
• Familiarity with the Go programming language (Golang).
• Experience with tracking systems, particularly within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with microservices architecture and publish/subscribe systems, including Redis or Kafka.
• Previous experience with logistics, supply chain technology, or B2B integrations.
